*Read the test questions 1st!

*Select KEY WORDS in the questions AND then search for them in the text.

*ANSWER THE EASY QUESTIONS 1st!

*SKIP the HARD questions.  Save them for last!

*Make sure you are marking your answer key properly!

Test Taking Tips To Think About Before The Test!!

Get the testing schedule from school and put it on your refrigerator, at home (LET YOUR FAMILY SEE IT!)

Visit the classroom where you will be testing.  Get to know the teacher you will test with.

Find a good book to take on during testing breaks.

Get a Good Night's Rest each night before testing.

Wake up early enough to get a warm meal before school.

Arrive to school on time each day of testing.

SET A GOAL FOR YOURSELF!

Think about your goals for this year's PSSA testing session.  What do YOU need to work on?  What do you want to achieve this year?  Don't be afraid to set a goal!  Post an image to symbolize your main focus during testing.
